Program Overview

  • Students observe coral reef restoration practices and examine evidence of coral growth. 


  • This gives students a deeper understanding of current conservation efforts. 


  • Learning about coral polyps as living animals that have a symbiotic relationship with photosynthetic algae fosters ecological awareness and empathy for marine life.
